Video: Nash wins $50K on ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’
August 21, 2009
Congratulations are in order for Steve Nash(notes).
Thursday night, on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?," the Phoenix Suns point guard won a cool $50,000 for his charity, The Steve Nash Foundation, which is dedicated to assisting underserved children in their health, personal development, education and enjoyment of life.
Captain Canada’s only question: "Which of these combinations of road races would require a participant to run the farthest?"
His choices: Twenty 5K races, fifteen 10K races, ten half-marathons and four marathons.
And though it took a lifeline call with some ridiculously annoying "expert," Nash correctly went with "ten half-marathons," won the big prize, and exposed Regis Philbin as a long lost Kris Kross fan. Owww!
Cheers, Hooped Up.
