The New Orleans Hornets hazed their rookies as an annual rite of passage (or something like that) at Saturday’s open practice in Lafayette, with this year’s theme being bad Beyonce karaoke in socks and sandals.

Rook Darren Collison(notes) sang a stirring rendition of "Single Ladies" (below), while Marcus Thornton ended the program by reading "Ego" with veterans David West(notes) and Julian Wright(notes) spittin’ on the Rahzel ones and twos.

Not bad, not bad … though it could have used more Batman costumes.
