New York, Philadelphia fans on worst behavior for ‘Daily Show’
November 3, 2009
Nobody puts folks in their place quite like the Daily Show, and if anyone needed to check themselves in the past 48 hours, it’s probably those who root for New York and Philadelphia sports teams.
Specifically, fans of the Yankees and Phillies, along with the Giants and Eagles. Representatives from all of the above squeezed into the same sports complex in South Philly on Sunday for the imperfect storm of NFL and World Series tailgaiting madness.
Most were on their best behavior, probably. Some, though, not as much. Lots of trash talk. Lots of potty mouths. Lots of testosterone (and that’s not a steroid reference). Lots of "You suck!" and "No, YOU suck!" Some of it was more imaginative than that. And meaner. And possibly drunker.
Whose fans were on their worst behavior? As it usually does, the Daily Show let the people speak for themselves.
Tip of the hat to SBNation for taping the Daily Show for us.
