Good morning, sweet world.

For the second year in a row, I’m off to Las Vegas — "the city that never sleeps" because Barry Manilow won’t let it — to speak on a panel at the Blog World Expo. They tell me I’ll be discussing the direction blogging is headed with Jamie Mottram of Yahoo!, AJ Daulerio of Deadspin and Spencer Hall of EDSBS, but, well, we’ll see about that. [Insert evil laugh, feed sharks with freakin' lasers attached to their heads.]

Your friend and mine, KD, will hold down the BDL fort while I’m losing poker money to Jalen Rose, though I hope to keep the ‘09-10 team previews coming at you. Today: Chicago and Cleveland. Tomorrow: Detroit and Indiana.
